Meron Tebeje is currently the Archival Research & Producing Resident at Industry Standard, a Netflix-supported project, where she manages and prepares archival materials for documentary post-production workflows.

She received her master’s degree in documentary filmmaking from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in New York City, where she was an Ida B. Wells Fellow.

Meron has directed two short documentary films, Always Tracy and Love Soldier.

As a freelancer she worked on projects like Queermasutra Podcast, The West Side Familia and Witnessing ALS. Previously, Meron held internships at Ark Media and Cortés Filmworks, where she supported research, archiving, and development for documentary projects, including the PBS film Caregiving.

Meron graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a degree in Anthropology, where she developed a passion for storytelling, memory work, and social justice.
